How do I get to Nine Mile Ranch?

From the Wellington Chevron gas station, travel 24 miles along Nine Mile Canyon Road—the road is paved the entire way. If you’re coming from Myton, about 5 miles of the road is unpaved but still passable.
What’s the best way to check the weather before I go?

Look up weather conditions for “East Carbon/Sunnyside, Utah” to get the most accurate forecast.
Is there cell phone or internet service in Nine Mile Canyon?

No. There is no cell or car service throughout the entire 50-mile canyon. Come fully prepared with supplies and a full tank of gas. Wifi and phone service are only available during check-in at the main house.
What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is after 1:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 PM.
Are RVs allowed?

RVs are welcome, but there are no RV hookups. Potable spring water is available for fill-up and an RV dump is available.
Do I need to agree to any terms before staying?

Yes, please read and accept the terms & conditions prior to check-in. A link will be provided in your confirmation email.
Is there a fee for extra vehicles?

Campsite prices include one vehicle. Cabins include two vehicles. Additional vehicles are $5/day and must park in the general parking area.
Do I need to pack out my trash?

Yes. Please pack out everything you pack in—including garbage, firewood, cigarette butts, and even rocks. Leave the site as you found it.
Are there any noise restrictions?

Yes. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM (9 PM to 7 AM after Sept 1st). No generators are allowed during these hours.
Are ATVs allowed?

While ATVs are allowed in the canyon, they are not permitted on ranch property, including campgrounds and gated areas. ATV trailers must be parked by the house.
What should I know about property and environmental care?

Do not climb fences or leave gates open. Please avoid damaging grass or trees—no chopping, burning stumps, or dumping hot coals outside the fire pits. Damages will incur fees.
Can I bring my dog?

Yes, but dogs must be leashed at all times, cannot dig, and must be cleaned up after. Additional fees apply to pets in cabins.
Are children welcome?

Absolutely, but parents must supervise children, especially near the playground and bathrooms. Any damages or uncollected trash will result in a fee.

Cell/WIFI Service

There is no cell service throughout the entire 50 miles of the canyon. Wifi is available around the main house for minimal usage.

Meals

Meals are only available for large groups with notification to property owners ahead of reservations, however, a small store will be opening in our new saloon in the spring of 2024.

Winter Reservations

Nine Mile Ranch is closed mid-November to mid-March or April depending on weather. If you are interested in renting during our closed season, please call us for reservation information.
